Build Something That Actually Helps People

We're not building flashy tech for tech's sake. Small business owners in Australia are juggling enough already. Late invoices, tax confusion, cash flow anxiety that keeps them up at night.

Our work makes their days a bit easier. That's it. And honestly? That matters more than any fancy mission statement ever could.

If you want to build tools that solve real problems for real people, we should talk.

What We Actually Care About

These aren't poster quotes. They're how we make decisions when things get complicated.

Clear Over Clever

Our clients don't have time to decode complicated interfaces or read through walls of jargon. If a feature needs a manual, we built it wrong. Simple wins every time.

Real Feedback Shapes Everything

We talk to business owners weekly. Not surveys or analytics dashboards. Actual conversations where they tell us what's frustrating them. Then we fix it.

Work That Fits Your Life

We're building tools that help people balance their businesses and personal lives. Kind of hypocritical if we didn't practice that ourselves, right?

Problems Over Perfection

There's always another bug to fix or feature to polish. But if we're not solving actual problems that clients bring up, we're just spinning wheels.

Roles We're Building Out

Client Support Specialist

You'll be the person who actually talks to our clients when they're stuck. Not reading from scripts or deflecting to documentation. Helping them solve problems.

  • Handle questions about invoicing, expense tracking, and reporting features
  • Spot patterns in what's confusing people and flag it to the product team
  • Write help articles that real humans can understand
  • Work flexible hours that let you have a life outside this job

Product Developer

Build the features that small business owners actually need. Not the trendy stuff that looks good in demos but never gets used.

  • Work directly with clients to understand their financial management struggles
  • Write clean code that makes sense when someone reads it six months later
  • Test features with actual business owners before shipping
  • Fix bugs that impact daily workflows before adding new features

Business Operations Coordinator

Keep things running smoothly so everyone else can focus on helping clients. Simple concept, surprisingly challenging execution.

  • Manage relationships with our accounting and compliance partners
  • Handle the administrative details that make remote work actually work
  • Coordinate client onboarding so new users don't feel abandoned
  • Track what's working and what's wasting time, then adjust accordingly

What Working Here Looks Like

We can't promise you'll change the world. But we can be honest about what you'll get and what you'll deal with.

Flexible Schedule

Core hours for team overlap, but you choose when you're most productive. Some of us are morning people. Some definitely aren't.

Remote-First Setup

Work from wherever you work best. We have an office in Castle Hill if you want to use it, but most of the team works from home.

Learning Budget

Take courses, attend conferences, buy books. If it helps you do your job better or explore something you're curious about, we'll cover it.

Real Feedback Cycles

Monthly check-ins where we talk about what's actually happening. Not annual reviews where everyone pretends to be surprised.

Health Support

Private health insurance contribution and mental health support through our employee assistance program. Because burnout helps nobody.

Direct Client Impact

You'll see how your work affects real businesses. Client calls, feedback sessions, the occasional thank you email that makes the hard days worth it.

Lachlan Pemberton

Operations Lead

I joined quoravixent in 2023 after spending years watching small business owners struggle with financial software that seemed designed to confuse them. My background's in business operations, but I got tired of working on projects that looked good on paper but didn't help anyone.

Here, we actually talk to the people using our tools. Weekly calls with clients who tell us exactly what's broken or what feature they desperately need. Sometimes those conversations are tough. But they keep us honest.

The team's small enough that everyone's work matters. When you ship something, you see it impact real businesses within days. That immediate feedback loop keeps things interesting and keeps us from building in a vacuum.

We're hiring because we're growing, but we're being careful about it. Looking for people who care more about solving problems than collecting impressive job titles.
