We've Been Where You Are

Running a small business in Australia means juggling more than you probably signed up for. We started quoravixent because we kept seeing capable business owners struggle with the financial side—not because they couldn't do it, but because nobody had time to explain it properly.

How We Actually Got Started

Back in 2018, Freya Lindqvist was working as a bookkeeper for a café in Parramatta. The owner was brilliant at hospitality but drowning in spreadsheets. One afternoon, after explaining cash flow for the third time that week, she realized something—small business owners don't need more jargon. They need someone who gets it.

She teamed up with two mates from her accounting days, and they started meeting clients in actual cafés instead of stuffy offices. Turns out, people are way more honest about their financial worries over a flat white. By 2020, we'd helped enough businesses stay afloat during the chaos that we had to get a proper office.

These days we're in Castle Hill, but we still prefer meeting clients wherever they're comfortable. Our approach hasn't changed much—listen first, skip the corporate speak, and remember that behind every balance sheet is someone trying to make their business work.

What Keeps Us Honest

1

Plain English Always

We've banned phrases like "optimizing financial paradigms" from our vocabulary. If your teenager wouldn't understand it, we're not saying it. Financial concepts are already complicated enough without adding nonsense words.

2

Your Time Matters

You didn't start a business to spend hours in meetings about accounting. We keep sessions focused, send summaries you can actually use, and respect that you've got a hundred other things to do today.

3

Real Solutions Only

Some consultants love complicated systems that require ongoing support. We prefer setting you up properly once, then being available when you genuinely need us. It's better business for everyone in the long run.

How We Work With Small Businesses

01

Initial Conversation

First meeting is always free and usually over coffee. We want to understand what's actually keeping you up at night—not just run through a checklist. Most sessions last about 45 minutes, and you'll know by the end if we're a good fit.

02

Financial Health Check

We look at your current setup without judgment. Every business has messy bits—that's normal. What matters is spotting where small changes could save you headaches later. This typically takes a week, depending on how organized your records are.

03

Practical Planning

We build systems that match how you actually work, not some textbook ideal. If you hate spreadsheets, we find alternatives. If you prefer monthly check-ins to quarterly reviews, that's what we do. The goal is something sustainable, not perfect.

04

Ongoing Support

Once you're set up, we're here when needed—not hovering. Some clients check in monthly, others once a quarter. Email us anytime with quick questions. We charge for actual work, not for being on retainer.
